Having a strategy is only as effective as those responsible for its execution. Studies suggest that 90 percent of strategies fail and less than 5 percent of employees have a basic understanding of the company strategy. Among the many reasons is managers and others throughout the organization do not have clear understanding, fail to communicate to others, and lack the resources to be effective.
